How to buy a cheap Macbook Pro – 3 ways to get a discounted Apple computer

Buying a new Mac from Apple can be extremely expensive, so any money saved is a bonus. In this video I’m going to tell you the top three ways to get a cheap Macbook Pro, although it’s actually a good way to get any Apple computer or product at a reduced price. I’ll leave links to the three shops down below in case you’re looking to buy a Mac yourself! Let’s get on with it.

3) eBay – This one might seem obvious, but maybe you didn’t know you that you can buy things like Apple computers from eBay. It’s a great place to buy from because there’s always a huge range of products on there, from really cheap faulty items, through to older but still useable macs, through to brand new products. There really are bargains to be had, especially if a seller has used the best offer feature, then you can haggle with them and see what kind of discount you can get. Another great reason to buy from eBay is the buyers 30 money back guarantee – if your mac is broken, you’ll get your money back. eBay is also a really good way to sell your old Mac computer – you’ll get a much better price than if you traded it in somewhere.

2) MacSales – I’ve done a video in the past about MacSales is great for getting Solid State Drives (SSDs) or Memory upgrades for your Mac (I’ll leave a link to that video down below), and indeed maybe you could just upgrade your mac instead of buying another one. Or perhaps you could buy a cheaper mac and then just upgrade the SSD. But you can also get used Macs from MacSales, and they often upgrade the storage in them which makes them excellent value for money when you consider the cost of a 1TB SSD. And at the moment they’re shipping with a free copy of Parallels, so you can run Windows on your Mac as well as Mac OS.

1) Apple refurbishment or education store – At the bottom of the page on the Apple website, there are two very interesting links. The first is the educational store link – if you’re a student, you could current save up to £434 when buying a Mac by signing in through your school or institution. They also have a refurbished store link. You can buy practically new apple products at a discount from this store from iPods to Apple TV. I’ve bought from here and the items are immaculate – you would not know they had been even looked at before. A lot of this stuff is returns or Macs that had very minor problems that Apple have now fixed. You also get the same warranty that you get on all Apple purchases

That’s it! Thanks for watching, I’ll leave a link down below to those three stores. See you next time for another video.
